Trans-Pacific Supply Chain Accord
One inspection, honored in six ports. Harmonized certification and port handling for heat pumps, inverters, and storage across the member network — signed in Osaka by all four manufacturing members.
The brief
A heat pump that leaves Busan certified, boxed, and tested is inspected again in Honolulu as if it had never been seen before. Every port repeats the last port's work, and a thirty-one-day clearance is priced into every unit that crosses the Pacific.
PMF-26-006 replaces repetition with recognition. One certification — issued at the factory under a harmonized standard — is honored in all six member ports for heat pumps, inverters, and storage. Handling, documentation, and hazardous-goods protocols are identical end to end.
The accord was signed in Osaka in June 2026 by all four manufacturing members and the port authorities of Osaka, Busan, Taichung, Manila, Honolulu, and Long Beach. The first harmonized shipment cleared Honolulu in nine days, down from thirty-one.
